SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The McCall Area P&Z Commission consists of seven (7) members: four (4) appointed by the mayor with
the consent of the council, and three (3) appointed by the board. All members shall be residents of the city
or the area of city impact for a period of at least two (2) years prior to appointment.
There are currently 2 positions vacant on the McCall Area P&Z Commission. Ronda Sandmeyer and Jim
Betts have applied to serve on the Commission for these positions. The P&Z Commission had the
applicants explain their background and why they were interested in serving on the Commission at a special
P&Z meeting on September 16th. The Commission recommended Ronda Sandmeyer and Jim Betts for
appointment by the City Council. Natalie Spencer was recently appointed as a P&Z Commissioner by the
County Commissioners on September 28th.
Attached are the letters of interest from Ronda Sandmeyer and Jim Betts.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Appoint Ronda Sandmeyer and Jim Betts as McCall Area Planning and Zoning Commissioners for a term of three
(3) years, expiring October 2013.
