MOTION 2022-206(a) – (Duplicate Motion Number – Motion 2022-206 with
November 15, 2022 Motion)
I move pursuant to Va. Code Section §2.2-3711(A)(8) and §2.2-3711(A)(3) of the
Code of Virginia that the Leesburg Town Council convene in a closed meeting for the
purpose of consultation with legal counsel and briefings by staff members regarding
specific legal matters related to the pending annexation in the JLMA where such
consultation in open session would adversely affect the negotiating or litigating
posture of the Town.
