HomeMy Public PortalAbout2023-04-17 minutesMinutes of Meeting Jefferson City Council Committee on Administration Monday, April 17, 2023 Item 20 on the Second Regular Council Meeting Agenda (New City Council) 6:00 PM City Council Meeting The meeting was convened at 8:53 P.M. by the current Chair of the Committee, Councilmember Wiseman for the purpose of election of officers. Members of the Committee were present by roll call: Present: Ahlers, Mealy, Wiseman, Hensley Absent: None Councilmember Wiseman opened the floor for nominations of Chair and Vice- Chair. Chair – Councilmember Hensley nominated Councilmember Wiseman as Chair. Councilmember Hensley motioned to cease nominations and elect Councilmember Wiseman by acclamation. Councilmember Ahlers seconded the motion. Councilmember Wiseman was elected unanimously. Vice-Chair – Councilmember Wiseman nominated Councilmember Ahlers as Vice-Chair. Councilmember Wiseman motioned to cease nominations and elect Councilmember Ahlers by acclamation. Councilmember Hensley seconded the motion. Councilmember Ahlers was elected unanimously. Determine Standard Meeting Schedule The City Council Committee on Administration will continue to meet on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:30 A.M. Adjourn There being no further business brought before the Committee at this time, Councilmember Wiseman moved for adjournment, seconded by Councilmember Hensley, and approved unanimously at 8:54 P.M.
