Anderson,Burman,Hankins,Jordan,Fatterson and 'idmaier present.
The Mayor outlined the encrease of salary of the employees as a
base for making a. raise .After some discussion, :iidma ier moved,Burman
seconded:That the board make tne wages of the 2own employees as
set forth by the Layor.Eotion cavried. it was decided the salaries
were to be Clerk 3 115.00,1ark z)upt.72.50 Day Jarshal 3 100.00,
Day 1: arshal $ 100.00,0em.Supt. 27.50.`These to start with the leay
sa laries, the town employees to srkve at the will and pleasure' of
the board.
Jordan moved, idrr_aier secon ed: Treat the application of : a u1 Lampro
for a s.2 Beer license be tabled until the matter be taken up with
the town atty.laot ion carried.

The meeting was called to order bt the .ayor.at 8:20 r.-.

The minutes of the regular meeting of -.ay 5 and the called meeting
Fay 19 were read and ap=roved as corrected.
A report By.Dr.Jordan of the judiciary Comm.stated that atty.
Bradfirdd said that a license could be denied r'aul Larnpros but that
the Town might have a suit on hand and that they might not win tlhe aas
Jordan moved,Patterson >_econded:To grant iaul Larmpros a 3.2 beer
license for one year .LId ttw.n carried upon roll call.
It was d:_cided that since there was so much complaint about the
gambling in town that tne officer5be instructed to stop all card
games in public places.
The Fire . ept.being iresent,Dr.ratterson Chairman of the rolice
and Fire Comr!.spoke to the men about the Board being with them in
making a better dept.and Tould get speaker from other plaices to
explain the working of tther fire Jept.He read a letter from Gov.
Carr sta tir_-g he could funnish a speaker who had been a ire Chief in
Dnnver and was now with the government in that work.
The Dept.then etected Leslie Clary as .ire Chief. and n. J.Copes
as Asst Chief. The communications being o± no great importance were
filed;
