SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Golf Course sold surplus equipment at the City Auction held May 30, 2009; bringing in $2,508. The
Golf Course Maintenance Supervisor would like to use these funds, in addition to Benefit funds, to purchase
two used Toro walking greens mowers; the total cost is $3,600.
In the spring greens are mowed with a walls mower until all the snow is gone, and the tee by the shop is walls
mowed all year because it is in the shade. The mowers currently used are getting old and worn out and are
in need of replacement.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve line item transfers from Contingent Revenue 54-99-075-100 to Sales of Surplus Property 54-30-
070-980 and Contingent Expense 54-99-750-100 to Minor Equipment 54-85-150-240.
