CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carrie Tergin called the April 17, 2023 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at 5:49 P.M.
to review the agenda.
ATTENDANCE
The following Councilmembers were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Deeken, Fitzwater, Hensley, Kemna, Lester, Schreiber, Spencer, Spicer, Ward
Absent: Wiseman
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilmember Spencer will lead the prayer.
Closed Session
- A closed session is scheduled for tonight.
Adoption of the Agenda
- Mayor Tergin will request a motion to amend the agenda adding Lincoln University
Student Representative Update after announcements.
Miscellaneous Agenda Items
- Mayor Tergin will present a retirement proclamation to Sister Jean Dietrich.
Public Hearings
- City Staff reviewed the resolution and pending bills scheduled for public hearings.
Appointments by the Mayor
- Gail Strope, Human Resources Director will present the recommended appointments.
Consent Agenda
- There were no questions at this time..
Bills Introduced
- City Staff presented their introduced bills. The sponsors of all the introduced bills will
request to suspend the rules.
