SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Lick Creek Davis Intersection Improvements project has been advertised for bids and the bid opening is
2 pm on May 14t. The project is funded by grant funds from the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation
and FY2009 LOT funding. A total of $25,907 is available from a current Road and Bridge grant, and the
City is anticipating additional funding of $14,750 from FY10 IDPR Road and Bridge program. $31,500 in
LOT funding (includes 10% reduction) has been approved for the project. Franchise fees may also be
available for the utility work.
Results of the bid opening will be provided at the Council meeting, along with a recommendation from staff
for contract award.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Award the contract to the lowest qualified bidder per the recommendation of staff, and authorize the
Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
