AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL, ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM THE ABSOCOLD YOUTH FOUNDATION
WHEREAS, the United Way has grant funding available; and
WHEREAS, the Richmond Parks and Recreation Department desires to submit a grant application to help fund the construction of the outdoor concrete skate park that will be located on the
corner of North 22nd and North D Streets in Glen Miller Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
The Richmond Parks and Recreation Department is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to the Absocold Youth Foundation to help fund the construction of the outdoor concrete
skate park that will be located on the corner of North 22nd and North D Streets in Glen Miller Park.
The Richmond Parks and Recreation Department is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to Ten Thousand Dollars
($10,000.00).
Said funds, if awarded to the Richmond Parks and Recreation Department, shall be appropriated to help fund the construction of the outdoor concrete skate park that will be located on
the corner of North 22nd and North D Streets in Glen Miller Park.
Passed and adopted this 18th day of December, 2000, by the Common Council for the City of Richmond, Indiana.
