A RESOLUTION APPROVING WATER SERVICE HOOK-UP OUTSIDE THE CITY
LIMITS AT 3354 Ireland Avenue
Whereas, the City of Tiffin has water infrastructure that borders the south city limits;
and,
Whereas, the City of Tiffin has received a request from Don Goedken, property owner
of 3354 Ireland Avenue, to be allowed to hook-up to the City's water system; and,
Whereas, City Staff recommends the hook-up to the City's water system be allowed at
the property owners expense,
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, to allow
Don Goedken to hook-up to the City water system at 3354 Ireland Avenue.
On the 3�d day of May, 2016, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Bartels introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2016-028, A RESOLUTION
APPROVING WATER SERVICE HOOK-UP OUTSIDE THE CITY LIMITS AT 3354
IRELAND AVENUE and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Kahler.
Ayes: Bartels, Havens, Kahler, Upton
Nays: None.
Absent: Ryan.
Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2016-028, A RESOLUTION APPROVING WATER
SERVICE HOOK-UP OUTSIDE THE CITY LIMITS AT 3354 IRELAND AVENUE to be
adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 3rd day of May, 2016.
