The clerk had been instructed to contact the Jown Atty.about the possibility of making a contract which would give the town the right to turn off the water of outsdde users in case of the town being short of water . the Atty had stated that in his opinion that a contact would not be any more effective than the ordinance would in that case. Vi'maier rnoved,i°a tterson seconded. :'hat an a:_mcindment be made to the ordinance conserning T.eople outside the Town limits taking water, in which all future permits be denied people outside the town limits. A letter from the Town iltty gave his opinion on making contsaot with people outside the town limits that the town could not shut off the water in case of water shortage in -the town,as it would be necessary to prove that the towns need -would be greater than the domestic use of the outside users. The cler read the clerks retort for the month. Mayor Fullmer read a fropsed ordinance concerning the stopping of making outside t -ps for . ater.Hankins moved, .'7idmaier seconded: 2 hat the Board accept the propsed ordinance as read and order it published in the town paper .$e t t ing . th.e :.fine for making the connection of from 25.00 to 250.00 .All pr e snt voted aye. The county treasurer had sent a tax paper for .he town hall and as the town had made adjustment with .r.Brayton of 1/3 on insurance they decided to pay the tax.This was t_ -.ken up with the County :treasurer and the town paid all the tax as it was already on the books. The guest ion of a club where_-ty the members could play casds for money was taken up and it wad decided not permit the club. The Board asked Eeveratt Hackleman to, come over and told him not to plgy poker at the wool hall and if he did it flould be out of the Boards hands.
