1. Roll Call.
2. Approval of Minutes April 6, 1988
3. Variance Request and Site Plan Review
Owner - Mr. and Mrs. Percy Orthwein.
A request to reduce the front yard setback requirement from
forty feet twenty five inches to thirty three feet five inches
as required in Section VII, J.1. Front Yard Required. To
reduce the east side yard requirement from fifteen feet to
eleven feet and the west side yard requirement from fifteen
feet to eleven feet five inches as required in Section VII, K.l.
Lot 19 Polo Cove, 543 Palm Way. In order to construct a single
family residence. An existing house on lot will be removed.
4. Variance Request
Owner - Mr. Donald Walsh
A request to reduce the rear yard setback requirement from
eighteen feet to fifteen feet and the east side yard setback
requirment from fifteen feet to nine feet ten inches pursuant
to Section K.1. Side Yard Required and Section L.1. Rear Yard
required. Lot 90, Place Au Soleil. 915 Orchid Lane. In order
to add an addition to an existing residence.
5. Variance Request
Owner - Mr. Joseph Nusrala - Applicant Mr. and Mrs. Polte.
A request to reduce the front yard requirement from the
required 26'25" to 20'06" pursuant to Section J.1. Front Yard
required. Also to reduce the Lot size requirement from
20,000 square feet to 19,009 square feet pursuant to Section
A.1, in order to construct a single family residence. Repl. of
Gulf Stream Properties No. 2 N 50 ft of Lt 44, S 33 ft of Lt 48
and Lt 47. At present there is a small home and pool on property,
if variance is approved existing structures will be removed.

The meeting was called to order at 9:05 a.m. by William A. Mayer, Chairman.

2. Minutes
On motion duly made and seconded the Minutes of the April 6, 1988 meeting
were approved.
3. Variance Request and Site Plan Review
Site Plan Review
Owner: Mr. and Mrs. Percy Orthwein.
Request to reduce the front yard setback requirement from forty feet
twenty -five inches to thirty three feet five inches as required in
Section VII, J.1. Front Yard Required. To reduce the east side yard
requirement from fifteen feet to eleven feet and the west side yard
requirement from fifteen feet to eleven feet five inches as required
in Section VII, K.1. Lot 19 Polo Cove, 543 Palm Way. In order to con-
struct a single - family residence. An existing house on lot will be
removed.
Chairman Mayer announced that inasmuch as only three members of the Board
were present, one of wham is a party to the request (Mrs. Orthwein), this
item was postponed until Friday, May 13th at 8 a.m. All interested
parties having been notified.

Legitimate objection having been raised and denial of variance not
perceived as imposing a hardship, the Board on motion duly made and seconded
denied this request.
5. Variance Request
Owner: Mr. Joseph Nusrala. Applicant: Mr. and Mrs. Polte.
Request to reduce the front yard requirement from the required 26'25"
to 20' 06" pursuant to Section J.1., Front Yard Required. Also, to reduce
the Lot size requirement from 20,000 square feet to 19,009 square feet
pursuant to Section A.1., in order to construct a single - family residence.
Repl. of Gulf Stream Properties No. 2 N 50' of Lot 44, S 33' of Lt. 48
and Lot 47. At present there is a small hone and pool on the property.
If variance is approved the existing structures will be removed.
After discussion with prospective neighbors and the applicant on landscaping
and setback requirements the Board on motion duly made and seconded approved
the variance request with the stipulation that the immediate neighbor must
be satisfied and that the area under discussion will be screened. It will
be noted that the applicant must submit a site plan and landscaping plan
to the Planning and Zoning Board.
There being no further convents from the Board or the Public the meeting
was adjourned at 9:25 a.m.
