CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Ron Fitzwater called the May 1, 2023 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at 5:45 P.M. to
review the agenda.
ATTENDANCE
The following Councilmembers were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Ahlers, Deeken, Lester, Mealy, Schwartz, Spencer, and Spicer
Absent: Hensley and Wiseman
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilmember Hensley will lead the prayer.
Miscellaneous Agenda Items
- Missouri American Water representatives will present an update on service lines
regulation.
- Shiela Pearre, Director of Finance and I.T. will present the monthly financial update.
- Ward 4 councilmember candidates will introduce themselves and answer any questions
from the City Council.
Announcements
- Clint Smith, Director of Planning and Protective Services ha s an announcement related
to an upcoming CAMPO event.
Consent Agenda
- There were no questions at this time.
Bills Introduced
- City Staff presented their introduced bills.
Councilmembers Hensley and Wiseman arrived at 5:48 P.M.

- City Staff presented their pending bills.

- City Staff presented their resolutions.

New Business
- There is an opportunity for Councilmembers to nominate one or more Ward 4 candidates
to move forward to the Public Hearing on May 15th.
