HomeMy Public PortalAboutORD16343BILL NO. 2023-006 SPONSORED BY Councilmember Lester ORDINANCE NO. /b9416 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING, AMENDING, AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE ZONING CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, BY REZONING 22.51 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED IN THE 2900 BLOCK OF ROUTE CC FROM RU RURAL TO RS -2 LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL. WHEREAS, it appears that the procedures set forth in the zoning code relating to zoning have in all matters been complied with. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The following described real estate is rezoned from RU Rural to RS -2 Low Density Residential: Part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 22 and part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 23, all in Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the City of Jefferson, Cole County, Missouri, being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast Quarter of said Section 22; thence S80°50'41 "W, along the southerly line of said Section 22, 1130.42 feet to a point on the easterly right-of-way line of Missouri Route CC; thence along the easterly right-of-way line of Missouri Route CC the following courses: northerly on a curve to the left having a radius of 602.72 feet, an arc distance of 184.88 feet (CH=N8°35'32"W, 184.15 feet); thence N17°22'47"W, 286.20 feet; thence northerly on a curve to the right having a radius of 851.90 feet, an arc distance of 527.83 feet (CH=NO°22'13"E, 519.43 feet); thence N17°54'12"E, 1.55 feet to the most westerly corner of the property described in Book 586, page 797, Cole County Recorder's Office; thence S72"02'14"E, along the southwesterly line of said property described in Book 586, Page 797, 522.60 feet to the most southerly corner thereof; thence S13°43'44"E, 193.52 feet; thence N76"16'16"E, 35.53 feet to the southwesterly corner of the 4th Tract described in Book 623, Page 424, Cole County Recorder's Office; thence continuing N76°16'16"E, along the southerly line of said 4th Tract described in Book 623, Page 424, 501.13 feet to the southeasterly corner thereof, being a point on the southwesterly right-of-way line of Missouri Route 179; thence along the southwesterly right-of-way line of Missouri Route 179 the following courses: S33"16'24"E, 238.30 feet; thence S53°25'48"E, 200.82 feet; thence S82°57'07"E, 499.14 feet; thence S82"05'51"E, 456.50 feet to a point on the south line of said Section 23; thence leaving the southwesterly right- of -way line of Missouri Route 179, S83°02'47"W, along the Section line, 1086.75 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 22.51 acres, more or less. Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
