1. Purpose & Agenda 10:00 —10:05
1.1. Approve the agenda
1.2. The purpose of the work session is to review and adopt the FY12 Tentative
Budget. The final budget can be smaller than the adopted Tentative Budget,
but cannot be larger.
2. Public Comment 10:05 —10:10
At this time, the Mayor will call for any comments from the public on the proposed
Tentative Budget.
3. Assumptions 10:10 —10:25
3.1. New Building Permits equal to FY11 estimates (15 EDUs)
3.2. Base Property Tax allocations across funds based on FY11 allocations
3.3. Personnel Costs
3.3.1. No market adjustment to wages
3.3.2. Up to 3% merit -based increase in wages
3.3.3. MedicalNision/Dental increases for dependents passed on to
employees
3.4. 3% property tax increase and foregone amount dedicated entirely to capital
projects

Staff recommends that the Council adopt the FY12 Tentative Budget in the amount
of $14,920,707.00.

17.2. FY12 Budget Public Hearing on August 11, 6:00 pm
