A R~OIXTIION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF TRUCgl~ ESTABI I~HING A ' W_APITAL IMPRO~
FUND':
WBERF. AS, the Town needs to plan for long-term capital projects and property acquisition for
which a fund is necessary and desirable to retain funds therefor; and
~ in order to maintain necessary and proper accounting procedures for the receipt and
expenditure of such funds, a capital project fund is hereafter established.
NOW TI-I~EFORI~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF TRUCKEF: as follows:
There is hereby established a fund to be designated as the "Capital Improvement
2. All revenue received l~om various sources for the transfer and deposit to the fund
shall be internally designated and credited to the appropriate capital project for which the revenue
is to benefit, and all expenditures shall be internally designated as charged to the appropriate
capital account.
3. All extx~ndimres or transfers shall be mgde upon adoption of a resolution by the
Town Council or as appropdat~ by a budget adopted by the Town Council.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced at a Regular Meeting of the Town Council of
the Town of Truckee, held on the 7th day of October, 1993, by Council Member Aguera who
moved its adoption, which motion being duly seconded by Council Member Carpenter was upon
roll call carded and the Resolution adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Aguera, Botto, Carpenter, Cross & Mayor Eagan
NOES: None
