Mayor Fullmer,fi_rst was sworn in by hirnself.Then the 'embers were sworn
in as a group.They were,Burman,Burroughs,CLary, i nkins & didrnaier.
Dr.Eatterson was not present to be sworn in.
Dr.Anderson one of the retiring rerrbe- s of the board read a 1.,_ per to
the new Board about the past work of the board and how they should
continue to work for the best interest of the town,.
State Treasurer wrote that the one Park Refunding Bonds was due . ay 1
1946 and the other May 1 194 and that only tLe one cue in 1946 could b
be pgid this year.
1tty houtchens gave his ppinion that the Town could declair gasoline
to be an explosive and could make all tanks within one mile of town
to be put under ground but other wise there was no regulation to
to prohibit storage in tanks w,than a resonable distance of the town.
David Miller ltty fdr Fred hoffner wrote concerning the irrigating
ditch which comes down 1st Ave.to the town park and which serves Tur.
hoffner saying they mould lire to have an adaquate surly of water
running to his f ield.Mr.Hofrier was to be asked to the next meeting
of the Board.

The minutes of the regular meeting of .4/ill 2 were read and approved.

The clerk read an old 'opiAion of Atty Thomas aixoia former Town Atty
which stated that when a rnna acce-:_ts a ditch obstructions in it that
it was his job to clean his own ditch, if there was no special agreement.
Lester liotaling said that about half of the cemetery lot owners who
had been contacted would be ,.w 11ing to pay for perpetual care.About
75% of the owners could not be contacted.
Chas.Frye stated that the Jar that lived next to his p operty on the
east side,had a fire b and and as he rras not at horic mucn, children
played in an old shack next to his house.
Referinr back to the Cemetery,B:ota ling said he figured that the cost of
taking care of the cemetery would be around 1200 per year for six years
he also stated that Sari McDonald offered to donate land to amount tie as
much as one section of the cemetery. Mayor suggested that the Cemetery
Committee investigate the Eaton plan of perpetual care,and to work
with the Cemetery Ass'n making a plan to go by here.
There was some talk of maping the cess polls which are to be put in and
also the ones which are known at pr:, sett .It was auggested that a fee be
charged so that a map could be kepi; up to date.
Fred Hoffner cage to the board meeting to discuss changing the ditch
which cotes down 1st Ave.into some other place so there would not be
so much water id the street .This was left to the Street & Comm.
