Leslie Clary was asked to see Troy Jones about getting a deal for a
dump ground,either by renting or buying.

Called meeting
May 16 1946'
Mayor Fullmer called this meeting at 8: p.m.to read the notices to be
sent to Esther Tormey and Gee.Gorai about 'leaning up ibheir places.
and also buying a new pump for the cemetery.
Burman,Burroughs,Clary,Hankins,Patterson & Widmaier present.
The Cemetery board was present and offered to buy a new pump from the
money donated to them for improveteg the cemetery.They were asked to inv
investigate what plants were to be planted near the graves as some of them
spread badly.They thought there should be some thing about limiting
the size of the grave stones.It was decided to have Hotaling call
Denver to see if the pump he talked of was still on the iloor.There
was to be some member of the baord go with him to purchase the pump.
The Cemetery Committee was to see just what assessments could be
put against the lots to be used for improvements.
Mrs. Jordan had been to the mayor to ask thatithey would not be
compelled to move their garage,which is standing in 3rd.St. just west
og Graefes Ave.but had been told by him that even though they were not
asked to move the building right away, t hey would have to move it
ultimately.
Dr.Patterson had been to Denver and talked with some engineers
about good farms to make an estimate on a sewer system and who would
be a reliable firm to handle the engineering in case the town put in
the system.Croker & Ryan were reccommended but their cost run to high
for a small town to handle,as they asked 5,000 for the survey.
Dr.Patterson was advised to contact the State Baanitary Engineer as
theynwould be glad to help all they could .The cost ofan estimate was
about 10% higher on a small project than the larger ones.
Dr.Patterson was to contact the .Feld County Dept.to have them look
into the Tormey and Gorai condition.
Leslie Clary had talked to Troy Jones about the dump ground and he said
that Jones stated that he did not want the public to use the dump groan
as th y did not care where they put the trash and that he was out 4 11.
per hr. for pushing the trask in the hole.He did say that Mr.K1ng was
very careful to put his loads in the hole and that he would .let him
put the Clean-up day hauling in the hole.He was to be asked if there
was some way the town could use the place even if they were restricted
to having the drays ho all the hauling.
