RESOLUTION NO, 2016-040
A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE 2016 -PHASE 1 WASTEWATER
TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
Whereas, the City Council of the City of•Tiffin received bids for.the 2016 Phase 1
Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements. Project; and,
Whereas, the City Council has identified WRH, Inc. as, having the lowest, most
responsible bid; and,
Whereas, the City Council wishes to award'the project and begin the contractual
process,
Now, therefore be it resolved'bythe City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, to
authorize the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk to sign all necessary notices,
documents and forms of.contract as required and necessary.to execute a contract with
WRH, Inc. as identified and recommended by the City Engineer.
On the 5t" day of July, 2016, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa;
Councilperson Upton introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2016-040, A RESOLUTION TO
AWARDYBID FOR THE 2016 PHASE 1 WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Kahler.
Ayes: Havens, Bartels, Upton, Kahler, Ryan
Nays None.
Absent: None.
Whereupon Five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2016-040, A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR
THE 2016 PHASE 1 WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature
thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 5th 'day of July, 2016.
