ayor Fullmer called the mee ing to order at 1:05 1. .and called on Lr.
Patterson to explain the reason of the neet ingl Br.eatterson said that on
account of the extent of polio that it eas thought best to tely ovrr the
matter of spraying against it.he introduced L'r.lasmund a sanitary engineer
of the County health -ert.who said that flies were the worst carriers of
polio but rets had been known to carry it too.He spoke of slrayi=g the
dump ground but it being too far away nothing gas done about that.
There should be a 5 �', solution on flies(DDT)which though it is not a quick
kill it is about 50% kill.Spraying is good for about 6 weeks.

It was suggested that a notiice be published for .eople in town to cut
and burn their weeds.
