The one area that white shutters will stand out most, is on the front bay window that has a stone surround. This will now become a focal point that will tie nicely into the home's color coordinated appearance, while the other windows will have a modest, but finished appearance. It has been our intention from the date of purchase, to enhance the appearance of this property and to make it eye pleasing for the neighbors. We think the addition of the white shutters will continue to add to the neighborhood's overall beauty. Thank you very much for your review and consideration of this request. This home posed some challenging renovations, but we cannot be happier with the outcome. It has meant a great deal to us that friends and neighbors have been so supportive and have been so complimentary of the finished project. Once again, we would like to ask for your support in a home improvement project in which we have submitted an application to the Architectural Review Board to be heard on July 23rd. This is for the installation of white aluminum shutters on the exterior windows which needs to be approved because the exterior of the home is white. However, the focal point of the home is the stone front and because the style of the roof is so predominant and is beige, we feel white would be complementary with the white aluminum windows, railings and fencing.
