RESOLUTION NO. 23-23
RESOLUTOION SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON
PROPOSED DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, AND
ESTIMATED COST OF IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE MARCUS COMMUNITY
GOLF COURSE CLUBHOUSE, MARCUS, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Marcus, Iowa, is preparing to
construct a new Clubhouse at the Marcus Community Golf Couse, for the City of Marcus,
Iowa; and
WHEARAS, interested residents or taxpayers can view proposed drawings,
specifications, form of contract, and estimated cost of improvements at the City Hall
Office during regular business hours; and
WHEREAS, interested residents or taxpayers having comments for or against
these proposals may appear and be heard at the public hearing at the City Council
meeting on July 10th, 2023, at 5:00p.m. at the City Hall Council Chambers, 222 N Main
St, Marcus, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Marcus, Iowa, that this confirms that the council order the publication of a notice of
public hearing pertaining to the Marcus Community Golf Course Clubhouse
improvements not less than four (4) days nor more than twenty (20) days prior to the date
set for the hearing.
