Mayor Tyrell called the special meeting of the City Council to order at 6:30 p.m. in the north meeting room of the City Hall. ROLL CALL: Present: Councilmen - Dennis -, Gilbertson, Merritt, Tyrell Absent: Councilmen -None Also Present: City Manager Koski UNFINISHED BUSINESS: 3. COUNCIL ACTION: Acceptance of Resignation and Appointment Following the roll call, City Council adjourned to an Executive Personnel Session to discuss the recent resignation of Councilman Briggs and make an appointment to fill the unexpired term, ex- piring on April 16, 1974. Everett H. Greenberg, member of the Parks and Recreation Commission was the unanimous choice of Council to fill the unexpired term and will be sworn into office at the next regular meeting of the City Council to be held December 18, 1973, 7:30 p.m. III 4. COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS: A. It was the unanimous decision of the City Council to appoint Jerry Seibert to the vacancy created on the Parks and Recreation Commission by the appointment of Mr. Greenberg to the City Council, Mr. Seibert's term to expire June 30, 1974. B. It was the unanimous decision of the City Council to appoint Brenda Embree to the vacancy created on the Youth Commission due to the resignation of John DeWitt, term to expire June 30, 1974. 5. ADJOURNMENT: Mayor Tyrell declared the meeting adjourned at 7:05 p.m. The next regular meeting of the City Council will be held Tuesday, December 18, 1973, 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber of the City Hall.
