A RESOLUTION, OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTIiORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE KIMLEY HORN
INTEGRATED TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM PROGRAM AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AND THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES
WHEREAS, the Kimley Horn Integrated Transportation System (KITS)
project is designed to increase traffic mobility and relieve existing traffic
congestion; and
WHEREAS, this new service is of regional and local benefit to commuters;
and
WHEREAS, as part of this project signal coordination has been completed
along three arterials within the City of Lynwood; and
WHEREAS, a cooperative agreement is needed to formalize maintenance
responsibilities of intersections that are part of the KITS project.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the Kimley
Horn Integrated Transportation System Agreement between the City of Lynwood
and the County of Los Angeles in a form to be approved by the City Attorney.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon _its
