RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATES FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE
PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT AND ESTIMATE OF
COST, AND FOR OPENING OF BIDS, AND AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF
NOTICES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE 2016 PHASE 1
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council has directed the City Engineer to prepare Plans,
Specifications and Contract Documents for the construction of the 2016 PHASE
1 WWTP IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT (the Project) and;
WHEREAS, the Project is to be paid for out of funds legally available for that
purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Tiffin, Iowa:
The date for the opening and public reading of bids of the Project is set for
July 1, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. and
The date for the Public Hearing of the Project is set for July 5, 2016, at
7:00 P.M. and
The date for consideration of bids for the Project by the City Council is set
at July 5, 2016, at 7:00 P.M. and will be acted upon at such time and place
or at such time and place as may then be set.
That the City Council hereby directs the City Administrator/Clerk to have
published the Notice of Hearing and Letting and Notice to Bidders for the
Project as soon as possible after the date 20 days prior to the date set for
the Public Hearing.
