A quorum was present.The Cemetery Resources Board met on Thursday, April 13,2023 at 9:00 a.m. in the Thomas JeffersonRoom, lower level of the John G. Christy Municipal Building, 320 E. McCarty Street, Jefferson City,Missouri.Approval of the Minutes:A motion was made for approval of the minutes from the March 16,2023 meeting by Jenette Dulle, PamWren seconded. Minutes were approved.Communications Received:David Grellner stated that Pam Rich has resigned from the Cemetery Resources Board.Old Business:Rebecca Gordon discussed the Cemetery Open House for 2023. She said the event is scheduled forOctober 14,2023. Board members briefly discussed obtaining help from community volunteers to makethe event a success. The preserving information gravestone project was mentioned and David Grellnerstated he will show which grave markers have been selected for new markers.New Business:A tour of Woodland and Old City Cemetery was conducted. Board members walked the cemetery andreviewed the information board in the cemetery regarding the history. They also looked at the CarrieCrittenden gravestone, and then proceeded to look at the gravestones that had been marked for thepreserving gravestone information project.
other Topics and Issues:The next Cemetery Resources Board meeting was set for Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. in theThomas Jefferson Conference Room at City Hall.Adjournment:With no further business, the meeting was adjourned.Respectfully submitted.David Grellner
