IN THE MATTER OF' ACQUISITIOn' AND Ii"~RO~VFMmTT
DISTRICT N0..7 OF THE CITY OF,LYNWOOD.
RESOLUTION OF AWARD.
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of~tYie City of Lynwood,-did, in
open-session on the 14th-day of June, 1927, publicly open; examine
' and declare all bids delivered to .the Clerk of said .Board of Tres-~
' tees for the performance of the. work and improvement described in
• the Resolution of Intention No: 335 in the. matter of Acquisition
and Improvement District No. 7 of the City of Lynwood, which reso-
lution i hereby expressly ref erred .to Por further particulars;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said Board of Trustees
of the City of~Lynwood hereby rejects all of said bids except that
.herein mentioned and hereby awards the contract for the performance
' of said work and improvement to 'the lowest responsible bidder, to-'
wit: Bebek ~ Brkich at the price named in their bid, to-wit:
ITEYi N0. 1. For ten inch (10") vitrified clay pipe sanitary
sewer ,(approximately 2,992 linear feet), complete in place,. in-=
eluding all rock base, "Weston's Gaskets and forms for the pipe
joints", wyes, saes,. ete.,_ excavations, back-fill, restoration of
street surfaces, removing and replacing all obstructions and all
_ material and work incidental thereto, the sum of: One and 85/100ths
` Dollars ("1.85) per linear foot.
' 2. For eight inch (8") vitrified clay pipe sanitary
sewer (approximately 34.784 linear feet), 'complete in place', in-
cluding,all rock base, wyes, tees, etc.; "Weston's gaskets and forms
for the pipe joints", excavations, backfill, restoration of street
surfaces, removing and replacing all obstructions and all material
and work incidental thereto, the sum of:=one and 65/100ths Dollars
( 1.65) per linear,Poot.
FIJI N0. 3. For six inch (6") vitrified clay pipe sanitary
sewer house connections (approximately 20,227 linear foot), oom=
plate in place, including all appurtanoes as shown on plan No. 413,
exeavation,~backfill, restoration of street surf aces, .removing and
replacing all obstructions and all material and work incidental
thereto, the sum of: One and no/100tha Dollars ('1.00) per linear
foot.
ITEM N0: 4. For 'approximately twenty-one (21) standard man-
hole .drops, canplete in place, including all excavation, backfill,.
restoration of~street surface, removing and replacing all obstruct=
ions and all material and work incidental thereto;. the sum of:
.Ninety and no/100ths Dollars ( 90.00) each.
