Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved on a motion by Van Deest, 2nd by Bausman. Carried. Van Deest moved, Bausman 2nd allowance payment: of the following bills for Net salaries Postmaster, stamps, certified letters, post cards Ed Gibson, filling out sewer report forms Wellsburg Herald, proceedings & claims, revenue sharing report and notices Mark Electric, wiring &. materials Krull Skelly Service, gas & oil B & B Auto Parts, parts & supplies Quick -Print Co., water cards Wellsburg Fire Dept., meetings & fire calls Ackley Quarries, rock Hallett Cons. Co., pea gravel State Hygienic Lab., water analysis Grundy Co. Carried. Moved by Bausman, 2nd by Terfehn to approve the 3rd and final reading of an ordinance establishing rules and regulations for obtain- ing a building permit. Carried. The meeting stood adjourned on a motion by Van Deest, 2nd by Terfehn. Carried. The Wellsburg City Council met 1977, with Mayor Blythe presiding Van Deest and Bausman present. Purpose of the meeting was for curb and gutter. I Zi- Clerk in sp ZciZsession on February 14, and Council members Huisman, Cordes, adopting a resolution of necessity for Huisman introduced the following resolution entitled "Resolution Adopting Resolution of Necessity", 2nd by Van Deest. Roll call of votes--Ayes-Huisman, Cordes, Van Deest, Bausman. Nays -None Carried. Cordes introduced the following resolution entitled "Resolution Directing Engineer to Prepare Detailed Plans and Specifications and Directing Attorney to Prepare Form of Contract and Notice to Bidders s on the Wellsburg, Iowa Street Improvement Project, 1977, #1", 2nd by Van Deest. Roll call of votes--Ayes-Huisman, Cordes, Van Deest, Bausman. Nays -None. Carried. Council member Bausman introduced the following resolution "Order- ing Bids Approving Plans Specifications and Form of Contract and Notice to Bidders" and set the date of March 21, 1977, 7 P.M. for re- ceiving bids, 2nd by Cordes. Roll call of votes--Ayes-Huisman, Cordes, Van Deest, Bausman. Nays -None Carried.. Moved by Bausman, 2nd by Van Deest to accept the recommendations of Department of Transportation to change the speed limit from the Chicago Northwestern'tracks to South Corporate City Li its. Carried. Motion by Cordes, 2nd by Bausman to introduce a resolution and adoption to approve the plotting of Evergreen's 2nd Addition to the City of Wellsburg. Roll call of votes. Ayes --Van Deest, Terfehn, Bausman, Cordes, Huisman. Nays -None. Carried.
