RESOLUTION NO. 96 -3506
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY APPROVING A THREE -YEAR COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
WITH THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City has participated in the Community Development Block Grant
(CDBG) Program for several years and has benefited from this participation; and
WHEREAS, the City anticipates projects which could be totally or partially funded by CDBG
funds; and
WHEREAS, participation in the Community Development Block Grant Program assists in
addressing the needs of the residents of the community and assists in upgrading the overall quality of life.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves continuing participation in the Los Angeles
Urban County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program from July 1,1997 through June 30,
2000.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City shall certify to the passage and adoption
of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
