Paul Good and some other members of the Gree _ev Gas Co.were present and the ord#osed ordinance granting a 25 yr.franchise to tr-em was read on its first reading.Burroaghs moved, Nidmaier seconded:To pass the proposed ordinance onits first reading and publish it in the Ault rogress,a paperof general circulation published in the Town of ult.Motion carried. Mrs.Riedel and Asa Mason were present and spoke to the board about some improvements at the library.Mrs.Riedei stated that the Library Board thought they would be able to give 100.00 toward them,and the Town pay the re -winder up to $ 300.00 Burroughs moved,Patterscn seconded:To accept the 100.00 ofered by rrs.Riedel_ of the Libray Board mad to a -ply on a vvater hfater and shelving to be placed in the library basement and the town to pay the remainder of the expense up to 300.00.Motion acrried.
