Burma n,Burroughs,MacKenzie,Kurt & Vlidmaier present.ratterson absent. The minutes of the regular meeting of liugust 3 were read and approved as read.A letter from the home Gas & Electric Co.stated that they were going to put in some new and better lights on rnai.n street.and twat the lights had been ordered. Ludlow Valve Co.gave the price of a fire hydrant. A sample of the water was safe. The clerks report for August was read. Captain Nicholson was present and stated that they were always willing to come into Ault and help with any thing that they could. The question of whether the town of Ault was responsible for any injury that the fire department might get at the water fight to be held at the fair or not.It was decided to have the members sign an aggreernent to save the town -rom any cost.The Mayor told about seeing some good street lights in Monte Vista and said that the price of them was 148. The County Assessor stated that the town valuation to be 337,130 which was raised from 266,060 a.nd asked the town tornake their tax levy accordingly,but that it could not be raised over 5% with- out the approval of the State tax Commission. Patterson moved,Kurtz seconded:To make the tax levy 25 mills as it 'aas last year.A11 voted Frye uron roll call.
