The meeting was called to order at 8:30 r . iii. by Mayor S iv ers .
Those present were : Burma n, Burr oughs , Kur tx & ildmaier.Mac Kenzie &
Patterson absent.
The minutes of the regular meeting of november 2 were read and approve
as read.
It was decided to have the Christmas light connected up this week.
The Brewers Lssn.wrote a letter to ask that the town be careful tbout
#wing licenses to persons who would not take care of the sale of beer
as they should.
Burman moved, Vidma ier seconded:To raise Sherman woods to $ 175.00 and
h.B.Smiths to 200.00 Per month.1iot ion carried.
Clifford 'Jhite asked the boa: d for a liquor license to sell liquor by
the drink.After some consideration,l'atterson moved,Kurts seconded:
That the Board deny Clifford :Lite an arproval for selling liquor at
this tirne.Upon roll call there were 5 votes for and one against the
motion as MacKenzie voted not
The marshal was instructed to tell the managers of Dicks Tavern to
run their place according to law or the next renewal of the license
would not be arproved.
Patterson stated that they were having ' a map made of the new tend whit
the town was having brought into the town, or rather they were trying
to get into the town.Pat t ers on moved, Burr oughs seconded:To approve the
the arpropriations as they were a year ago. iot ion carried.
Patterson moved,Kurtz seconded:To hire Helen i'eisler to audit the
clerks books.Motion carried.
It was decided to seel .the old fordson for 100.00.fath.
