AUTHORIZING THE WAIVER FOR THE POSTItOF PERFORMANCE
GUARANTEES FOR CERTAIN PRIVATE DE LOPMENT SITE
IMPROVEMENTS - LOWER ROOSEVELT REDE. ELOPMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Redevelopment Agreement f~ the development of the
Lower Roosevelt Redevelopment Project, the Borough is rqquired to install certain Public
Improvements as defined therein; and i
\VHEREAS, the developer for this project would otherwi~e be required to post certain
perfonnance guaranties for improvements installed in the Pfblic domain which are being
installed as part of a greater public works project; and i
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has reviewed the respdctive required improvements
to be installed. !

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayrr and Council of the Borough
of Carteret that the Construction/Zoning Department is ~ereby authorized to waive the
posting ofperforrnance guaranties only for those Public IIfprovements as set forth in the
Lower Roosevelt Redevelopment Agreement. !
