Regular meeting " June 7 1949
The meeting was called to order at 8:15 P.z.
Burman, Burroughs,MacKenzie,Kurts,Pa tterson & �l dma�. present.
The clerk read the minutes of the regular meeting of May 3 which were
a -proved as read.
The water test was favorable.
The State health Department wrote that they would send for two samples
of water.each month.
The Home Gas wrote that they had changed the lights do main street and
asked how thw borad li ed them. They also said .that the amount of the
lights would be changed.After sore di scussion it was decided to
investigate other lights a it -as thought that these had not changed
enough.The price of tie lights like they have in Greeley were 75.00
per year.
There was some discuss -An about taking in more territory to Ault.
The survey had not been completed fret.
Mr.Schnepf made application for day marshal at $ 175.00 per month
but it was decided tlla t they could not afford that at present. There
was another application from a Greeley man.but tLis was turned down.
Burman moved,Iidma ier seconded:To grant B.B.Bell a 3.2 c/o Beer License
for one year.liotion carried.
Burroughs moved, Nidma i er seconded:To have .%fir. Houtc hens draw an
ordinance to establish a building code,the same to be presented
at the next meeting.Motio_r, carried.
It was decided to dust against fife again this yearb as soon a the
weather permitted.
The ayor read the clerks report for the month.

Mayor Suers called the meeting to order at 8:15 P. M.
Those present were: Burman, Burroughs, Kurtz,Patterson, and Vidmaier.
MacKenzie aksent.
The minutes of the regular meeting of June 7 were read and approved
as read.
A letter from Atty. Houtchens stated that the Town could draw up
an ordinance to zone the town for controlling the building of
basements and not finishing the house or this could be done by build-
ing permits. The zoning ordinancemyvould be rather complicated.
