Called meeting July 25 1950
Mayor Sivers called the meeting to order at 5:30 P.M. stating that it
was called to discuss the issuing of a Retail Liquor Package license to
August Sothman who was buying Chas. Werling's business.
Burman,Burroughs,MacKenzie,patterson preeent.Kurtz & Widmaier absent.
Pat Lerson moved,Machenzie seconded: To grant a Retail Package Liquor
license to August Sothcan on Lots 18-19-20 Blk.4 Original town only for
the rest of the year.Motion carried.
The Patrol captain had asked if the board would approve of placing a
"No arking't sign on the south side of the R. i.Park as some big trucks
made a traf'ic hazard at this intersection. The board approved this.
It was decided to hire Robert Jones to take Mr.Smith place while he
was an a vacation.
