The meeting was called to order at 8:45 P.M.by Mayor Givers.
Mackenzie,Kurtz,Patterson,Burman,Burroughs & Widmaier present.
The minutes of$he regular meeting of July 5 and those of the called
meeting of July 25 were read and approved as read.
Patterson Eead a letter from kt ,y loutchens which stated the
provisions and requirements of annexing land lying east of the
town.He also read the heading of a petition drawn up by Atty houtehens
and after it was discussed it was decided to have Patterson circulate it
among the people in the territory to be annexed.
A petition asking that Clifi'ora White be given a Liquor license tcb
sell liquor by the drink, and signed by many citizens of the Ault
corer -unity was read by Karl Ahlborn Atty for white and discussed by
him.
Kurtz moved,Burroughs seconded:That the above application bf Clifford
White be refused.Upon a secret baleot, there were four for the motion
and 2 against.Motion lost and application denied.
Spraying of th town was discussed but nothing definite wes decided.

for the amounts.Motion carried.
