"FIRE DEPARTMENT" OF THE CO
BOROUGH OF CARTERE

Carteret (the "Borough") as follows:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Borough Co ncil of the Borough of
Section 1
§25-6. Qualifications is hereby amen ed supplemented to add the
following paragraph;
All Firefighters (No. Is) shall be ce lied Emergency Medical
Technicians ("EMT's") at the time of heir hire and shall further
maintain said certification in good sta ding during the course of
their employment with the Borough.
Section 2
All ordinances or parts thereofincons' tent with the provision of
this ordinance are hereby repealed hm ted to the extent of any
such inconsistency.
Section 3
-If any section, paragraph, sub-divisio clause or provision of this
ordinance is adjudged invalid, such ad udication shall apply only
to the section, paragraph, sub-division clause or provision so
adjudged and the remainder of this or inance shall be deemed
valid and effective.
Section 4
This ordinance shall take effect upon i s passage and publication
according to applicable Jaw.
