Church Street Parking Lot to Permanently Close
Updated downtown parking information available on Town website
Leesburg, VA (October 7, 2022) – The Church Street
downtown parking lot will permanently close this
weekend to allow for construction on the Church &
Market development to proceed.
For the last four years, the Town leased the surface
parking lot at the corner of Church and Loudoun
streets, next to the County Government Center
parking garage, from the property owners.
Construction on the Church & Market development is
expected to begin imminently, necessitating the lot’s permanent closure. The lot will be
completely blocked off to traffic by early next week.
There are still many free and low-cost parking options in the downtown area, including on
street, and in both structured parking facilities and surface lots. An updated downtown parking
brochure and addresses to downtown parking facilities can be found on the Town website at
