Ribbon Cutting Scheduled for Private Property Mural
Leesburg, VA (November 28, 2022) – Please join Leesburg Mayor Kelly Burk and Town Council
members for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the private property
mural.

In August 2022, the Leesburg Town Council approved mural art submitted by local artist Serina
Chowdhury for a private wall located in the Virginia Village Shopping Center. The mural depicts
music notes and musicians performing in the historic downtown per requirements in a recent
“Call to Artists”. The mural was completed in October.
