The Mayor may, from time to time, app 'nt a Deputy Mayor to perform those functions and duties authorized by law to be performed by an individual holding said position in the place of the May r, and the Mayor, or his designee, is hereby authorized to serve as the authority s provided for pursuant to NJSA 40A:14-118. Section 2. All Ordinances and/or provisions ther of inconsistent with the provision of this Ordinance shall be and are hereby r pealed as to the extent of any such inconsistencies. Section 3. If any section, subsection, part, clause 0 phrase of this Ordinance shall be declared invalid by judgment of any Court of ompetent jurisdiction, the section, subsection, part, clause or phrase shall be dee ed to be sever able from the remainder of this Ordinance.
