Bulk Leaf Collection Ended in Leesburg on December 29, 2017
Leaves must be bagged and placed at curb for collection on regular yard waste
collection days.
Leesburg, VA (January 4, 2018) – Leesburg’s annual bulk leaf collection ended on Friday,
December 29, 2017.
All leaves must be set out in covered trash cans with handles or in biodegradable paper yard
waste bags for collection. Leaves in plastic bags will be collected as trash.
Yard waste is collected once a week, on Mondays in the SE/SW quadrants of town and on
Tuesdays in the NE/NW quadrants of town.
The Leesburg Public Works and Capital Projects Department offers automatic email and text
notifications of changes to trash, recycling and yard waste collection schedules. Register at
www.leesburgva.gov/subscribe.
