CALL TO ORDER: The Women's Commission meeting for August 11, 2009 did not take
place, due to a lack of quorum.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: None
ROLL CALL: None:
Member Present: Commissioner Olga Real.
Members Absent: Chairperson Martina Rodriguez
Vice Chairperson Gloria Jaimes
Commissioner Margaret Araujo
There were no calls from the Commissioners to inform the staff that they would not be
attending the August 11, 2009 Women's Commission meeting.
Commissioner Sylvia Herron resigned from the Women's Commission. She turned in her
resignation to the City Clerk's Office on August 4, 2009. On August 10, 2009 staff received a copy
of Commissioner Sylvia Herron resignation from the City Clerk's Office.

Adjournment -The Women's Commission next regularly scheduled meeting is to be held at 10:00
