CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Ron Fitzwater called the July 17, 2023 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at 5:45 P.M.
to review the agenda.
ATTENDANCE
The following Councilmembers were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Ahlers, Hensley*, Lester, Mealy, Schwartz, Spencer, Spicer, Wiseman, Wright
Absent: Deeken
*Participated virtually
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilmember Spencer will lead the prayer.
Announcements
- Mayor Fitzwater will announce the upcoming air show.
Consent Agenda
- There were no questions at this time.
Bills Introduced
- City Staff presented their introduced bills. Councilmember Hensley, sponsor of bill 2023-
026, will request to suspend the rules.
Informal Calendar
- Councilmember Spencer intends to leave bill 2023 -017 on the informal calendar.
- Councilmember Schwartz will be working with the Law Department to draft a substitute
to bill 2023-017.
Resolutions
- City Staff presented their resolutions.
New Business
- Councilmember Lester would like an update on the Yard Waste contract.
