RESOLUTION NO. 97 -3557
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY PURSUANT TO SECTION 3582 (C) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
ESTABLISHING A FEE SCHEDULE FOR THE RENTAL OF THE
PERFORMING ARTS PAVILION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
WHEREAS, City Council has established guidelines for setting fee schedules for City's
recreational fee and charge programs; and
WHEREAS, the City currently offers recreational facility rental as part of its fee and charge
services;
WHEREAS, the establishment of a fee schedule for the rental of the Performing Arts Pavilion
is consistent with the City Council's direction;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE,
DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to section 3582 (C) of the Temple City Municipal Code relating to facility
rental and permit fees, the following fees shall apply for the rental of the Performing Arts Pavilion:
A. Reservation Fees
$ 50 per hour
$100 per hour
Up to 50 people
51 -150 people
Two hour minimum rental, must include set -up and tear down time in reservation. The
two hour minimum will be waived for reserved use of the Performing Arts Pavilion for
photo shoots.
B. Deposits
$300 security deposit
All or part of the security deposit will be refunded based upon staff inspection of the
facility. If the facility is left in a clean condition with no damage to the pavilion or
surrounding areas, the deposit will be refunded in fulL If the facility is left untidy or
damaged the entire deposit, or a portion thereof, will be forfeited to the City.
C. Staff Fees
$30 per hour
The City requires staff at all Performing Arts Pavilion rentals. Reservations on weekends
or after 4:00 p.m., will be charged for staff costs. Reservations at other times may be
charged staff costs. Applicant will be notified of staff charges when application is
approved.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution.
