The Town Council of the Town of Wellsburg, Iowa, met pursuant
to the rules of said council in session on call of the Mayor
at the time and place designated in the following call, a copy of which,
signed by the Mayor, had been personally served on each member a suffi-
cient time before the said meeting and service of which had been duly
accepted by each member.

Dear Sir:
Yon are hereby notified that a meeting of the Town Council of
the Town of Wellsburg, Iowa, will be held on the 17th day of February,
1931, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., at the Town Hall, Wellsburg, Iowa, within
said Town, for the purpose of receiving and acting on bids for the
$12,000 Waterworks Bonds of said Town, dated the First day of February,
1931, ancl for the transaction of such other business as may come before
the meeting.

The meeting was called to order by the Mayor, and the roll
being called, there were

The Mayor stated that the purpose of the meeting was to receive
bids for the $12,000 Waterworks Bonds of said Town, dated February 1, 1931.
All sealed bids were received and placed on file, after which
open bids were called for.
The substance of the best open bid is as follows:

the soluti on next hereinafter set out and moved its adoption, seconded by

by the Town Council, the Mayor put the question upon the adoption of said
resolution, and, the roll being called, the following named Councilmen
voted:

Whereupon the Mayor declared the resolution duly adopted as
allows:
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Under date of `h j_.. 19_l, this Town
ouncil of the Town of Wellsburg, y0, did pass and adopt a resolution
uthorizing the issuance of $12,000/ tterworks
Bonds of said Town; and
tTHEREAS, Notice of sale of said bonds has heretofore been
riven in strict compliance with the provisions of Chapter 63, Code of Iowa,
Iy publishing said notice in the mWelleburg Herald", an official newspaper
of Grundy County, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, All sealed bids for said bonds were received and placed
)n file, after which all open bids were received, and the substance of the
,)est open bid duly noted, and thereafter all sealed bids were opened and
the substance of the best sealed bid duly noted; and
WH�:REAS, After due consideration of all bids received, it was
round and deterpined that the highest and best bidder was

BE IT RESOLVED, By the Town Council of the Town of Wellsburg,

Section 1. That the $12,000 47*% iratorwor:k bonds of .id Town,
dated February 1, 1931, be awarded to
as the highest and best bidder, and that the Mayor and T wn Clerk of said
Town are hereby ordered to enter into a formal contract of sale of said
bonds.
Section 2. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
