RESOLUTION NO. 97 -3566
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY UPHOLDING THE PLANNING COMMISSION'S DENIAL OF
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 96 -1294 TO ALLOW THE SALE AND
CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND KARAOKE
ENTERTAINMENT ON THE PREMISES OF AN EXISTING CAFE IN
THE WEST COMMERCIAL (WC) DISTRICT OF THE DOWNTOWN
SPECIFIC PLAN AT 9103 LAS TUNAS DRIVE (UENG -- DUO
EXPRESS)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. Based upon testimony received at a noticed public hearing before the City Council
and upon facts contained in the Planning Commission Minutes and staff report dated January 14, 1997,
and based upon input received at a noticed public hearing before the Planning Commission, the City
Council hereby upholds the Planning Commission's action and denies the requested Conditional Use
Permit based upon the findings contained in Planning Commission Resolution No. 97- 1835PC.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to passage and adoption of this resolution and enter
it into the book of original resolutions.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED ON 4TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1997
