RESOLUTION NO. 97 -3567
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY AFFIRMING THE PLANNING COMMISSION'S ACTION AND
APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 96 -1292 TO ALLOW THE
CONSTRUCTION OF 2 -STORY 13,500 SQUARE FOOT COMMERCIAL
BUILDING WITH 57 PARKING SPACES AT 5546 ROSEMEAD
BOULEVARD IN THE C -3 ZONE (TSAI/LEE)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. Based upon testimony received at a noticed hearing before the City Council and
upon facts contained in the staff report, as well as information and testimony contained in the Planning
Commission Minutes, the City Council hereby affirms the Planning Commission's approval of Conditional
Use Permit 96 -1292 based upon the findings and subject to the conditions contained in Planning
Commission Resolution 97- 1836PC.
SECTION 2. This project should not result in significant effects upon the environment and a
Negative Declaration has been prepared in accordance with the State CEQA Guidelines. The initial
statement as prepared indicates there is no potential for adverse impact to the environment generally and
specifically as it relates to all wild animals, birds, plants, fish, amphibians, and related ecological
communities, including the habitat upon which the wildlife depends for its continued viability.
SECTION 3. Accordingly, Conditional Use Permit 96 -1292 is hereby approved; provided,
however, that said C.U.P. shall not become effective unless and until the Community Redevelopment
Agency grants required exceptions from the adopted Design for Development criteria contained in
Resolution No. CRA 90 -417 (see CRA Resolution No. 97 -623).
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to page and adoption of this resolution and enter
it into the book of original resolutions.

City of Temple City at a regular meeting held on 4th day of February, 1997 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilman - Breazeal, Budds, Gillanders, Souder, Wilson
NOES: Councilman -None
ABSENT: Councilman -None
