RESOLUTION APPROVING FIREWORKS FOR CARTERET'S IOOTH
ANNIVERSARY AND 4TH OF JUL Y FESTIVAL AT WATERFRONT PARK
WHEREAS, The Borough of Carteret is celebrating its looth Anniversary, 1906-2006;
and
WHEREAS, The Mayor and Conncil of the Borough of Carteret believe that having a
fireworks display at the festival would be an enjoyable way to enhance the event and an
appropriate symbol of community pride; and
WHEREAS, in order to obtain a permit to display the fireworks it is necessary for the
Borough to adopt a resolution approving said display.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Borough Clerk be and
are here by authorized to execute such documents as are necessary to obtain any and all
permits to facilitate "Carteret's lOoth Anniversary and 4th of July Festival" fireworks
display.
Adopted this 4'" day in May, 2006
and certified as a true copy of the
original on May 5, 2006.
