Love Your Neighbor Orange Ribbon Campaign Places Ribbons
on Leesburg Town Hall
Ribbons will be on display through the month of March.
Leesburg, VA (February 26, 2018) –
The Love Your Neighbor Orange
Ribbon Campaign has been
organized by a group of Loudoun
County and Leesburg residents in
response to recent messages of
hate and bigotry to display orange
ribbons throughout the community
as signs of love and unity. On
Saturday, February 24, 2018, Mayor
Kelly Burk, Council Member Marty
Martinez and Council Member
Vanessa Maddox joined Love Your
Neighbor representative Laura
Giessler to place ribbons on the
doors to the Town Hall lobby. The ribbons will remain on display until the end of March.
A basket of orange ribbons, courtesy of the Love Your Neighbor Orange Ribbon Campaign, is in
the lobby of Town Hall. Anyone wishing to have a ribbon is welcome to stop by Town Hall and
pick one up.
