A. TIP Amendment #1 of 2024-2028 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)
Action Requested: Review, discussion, and recommendation to the CAMPO Board of Directors for review
and approval. A minimum seven-day public comment period will be opened August 7th and conclude at the
August 16th Board of Directors meeting.
Staff Report: An application has been received from MoDOT requesting an amendment to the current
2024-2028 TIP, splitting an existing MoDOT project (TIP #2022-01) into two projects:
• TIP #2022-01 MoDOT – Cole Rte 54
MoDOT STIP #5P3497
$3,754,000 in Programmed Funds
This project originally included construction of new lanes and changes to all associated
interchanges on both eastbound and westbound US54/63. The amended project only includes
additional lanes to the eastbound portion of US54/63 and auxiliary lanes on MO 94. The project
spans Project Years 2023 and 2024.
• TIP #2024-14 MoDOT – Callaway Rte 54
MoDOT STIP #CD0170
$2,964,000 in Programmed Funds
This project includes the construction of additional lanes on westbound US 54/63 and changes to
the interchange at Route W. The project spans Project Years 2024, 2025, and 2026.
