A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ADOPTING
THE PLANS, CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND WORKING DETAILS FOR THE
ATLANTIC AVENUE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 4011.67.874,
FEDERAL PROJECT NO. 07-LA-0-LYN/ESPL 5250(013); AND AUTHORIZING THE
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS ENGINEERING STAFF TO SOLICIT BIDS AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO MAKE THE NECESSARY FUNDS
APPROPRIATION AND TRANSFER

WHEREAS, the plans, contract documents and working details for the Atlantic
Avenue Improvement Project, Project No. 4011.67.874, Federal Project No. 07-LA-0-
LYN/ESPL 5250(013) are complete and ready for the City Council of the City of
Lynwood's review, consideration and adoption; and
WHEREAS, said project is funded with $564,871 of the federal American
Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARA) funds; and
WHEREAS, the estimated construction cost of said project is $683,823; and
WHEREAS, staff has identified 120,000 of available Prop C funds that can be
used for this project;.and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works of the City of Lynwood has
determined that said projects are in accordance with the California Environmental
Quality Act (CEQA) and are categorically exempt pursuant to Section 15301 (C) of the
CEQA guidelines pertaining to statutory exemptions; and
WHEREAS, the project is ready to be advertised for the solicitation of bids.
NOW, THEREFORE; NOW, THEREFORE, THE,CITY COl NCIL,OF.rT,HE;CITY
OF LYNWOOD DOES HEREBY. FIND;. PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS: ~,
Section 1. That the Atlantic Avenue Improvement Project, Project No.
4011.67.874, Federal Project No. 07-LA-0-LYN/ESPL 5250(013) is in conformance with
the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and is categorically exempt.
Section 2. That the City Manager or designee is authorized to make the
following funds appropriation and transfer:

Section 3. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood hereby adopts the
Plans, Contract Documents and Working Details for the Atlantic Avenue Improvement
Project, Project No. 4011.67.874, Federal Project No. 07-LA-0-LYN/ESPL 5250(013).
Section 4. That the City Council. of the City of Lynwood authorizes the
solicitation of bids for said project:
Section 5. This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 6. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
